Because it's simply masterpiece. It's rich and detailed, it's truly beautiful and dynamic, it features great directing and even greater voice-acting. I found out that Ezio is much more interesting person than I originally thought of him. Still, in my opinion, he is still too impudent and brutal. Altair was far more content and calm, that's why I always loved him as a character.
But hey, what can you expect from a 17-year-old italian nobleman of Renaissance? Everyone was impudent and brutal back there, just as they were daring and witty. Oh, yes, they ARE witty, I might add. I played for merely two hours and yet I've already heard several brilliant jokes. Starting with "Hi, Desmond. Go away" and straght to the famous "outlet speech". ACII is filled with a certain so-called "spirit of youth", it truly conveys all the will to live the life of Renaissance, the life of adventure.
I can't recall any game of the past to feel like this. Especially, not the game with a protagonist of my age.
Well, I'm sure there's much more secrets and feelings to embrace. And so I come into the abyss... to never return?)
P.S. I really want to go to Italy now. I Really-really want to.

have a nice flight and enjoy your stay!
